Commercial Ventilation & Exhaust Systems
Ventilation is another essential part of a functioning commercial building. We install commercial exhaust fans, associated ductwork, and specified ventilation components, including make-up air equipment and controls where required by the design. Exhaust and replacement air need to work together; simply installing a fan does not resolve the entire ventilation requirement. We coordinate equipment placement, discharge locations, connections, and operating controls with the project documents and responsible trades.
HVAC Controls & Building Automation
We also install equipment controls, thermostats, zoning components, and specified automated control systems. Where a project includes building automation, we coordinate equipment interfaces, control wiring responsibilities, sensors, and operating sequences with the controls provider and construction team. The goal is for the equipment to respond as intended and for the owner to understand how to operate it.
Commercial Refrigeration Systems
Our mechanical work extends into commercial refrigeration, including systems serving cold rooms, walk-in coolers, walk-in freezers, reach-in refrigerated cabinets, and ice machines. These installations require attention to refrigeration capacity, equipment clearances, piping, drainage, ventilation, and the utilities specified by the manufacturer. We coordinate those requirements with the relevant trades and the intended use of the space.
System Startup, Testing & Commissioning
As the project approaches completion, we address equipment start-up, operational checks, and required coordination for inspections, testing, balancing, and commissioning within our contracted scope. We also consider what happens after handover: equipment identification, maintenance access, documentation, and ongoing service support.
